Solomon’s world boiled down to the feisty, stubborn woman in his arms. A virgin. How had this gorgeous woman remained untouched for so long? As much as he knew about Lizzie, that little tidbit had escaped even his powers of perception. He wouldn’t have been more shocked if she’d pointed a gun at his head and pulled the trigger.

She’d chosen him. Fuck, it humbled him. My Lizzie. This was new territory, even for him.

Then there was the possessive claim of his dominant nature. The moment he penetrated her, claimed her, broke through that thin membrane and felt her silken heat encase his dick, the first man ever to do so, a part of him had simply said: mine. Solomon knew deep down he didn’t have a right to her, even if he did crave her with every fiber of his being.

Last night, when he’d walked away from her like the blithering idiot he was, he’d had no idea of the damage he’d wrought. She’d chosen him to be her first. Why she’d done it—picked him when he didn’t deserve it in the slightest—he hadn’t a fucking clue. And he would hoard the experience in his recall to withdraw later.

She’d given him a gift, his precious, beautiful Lizzie. He knew that now. And he had tossed it away and hurt her. It shamed him. He, more than anyone, understood her past, how distant her parents were with her—and that fucktard of an ex-fiancé was hardly any better.

Tonight, he wasn’t going to worry about the repercussions or recriminations. Those would come later. His claim had been staked on her and he wasn’t letting her go just yet. That would come. And perhaps a better man would end it now, send her on her way, and never touch her again…

But Solomon wasn’t a good man—at least, not good enough for his Lizzie, nor would he ever be. If there was anyone who deserved the best life had to offer, it was her. And he would do what was right by her, but not tonight. He was already hell bound, and was a selfish bastard when it came down to it. They’d have to separate him from her with dynamite because for the next eight hours, she belonged to him.

None of those thoughts stalled the fury that rose in his chest, however. The little minx would have given herself to Michael and Dante if Sol had not intervened. Christ, she was untrained and unsullied. She never would have survived a night with those two intact. There was nothing wrong with them, they were damn fine Doms in their own right, but they were demanding and exacting of a submissive. They tended to push a sub’s boundaries to the limit. A night with them would have hurt her, changed her, done away with her innocent, vivacious spirit because she would have never understood why they didn’t keep her afterward. Those two weren’t known for keeping a sub, they tended to prefer variety. And Lizzie was a woman a man kept.
